Heading into Post Production

Heading to post-production for two films we shot for the Real Food Media Contest, very excited with what we captured. Deadline is February 3rd, not much time with the holidays interfering. Lots to do.

Immortalized on the Walls of Videomaker Magazine

Honored and flattered. Jennifer O'Rourke, Videomaker magazine's managing editor sent me these photos of "video producers in action." It appears that there are two large, framed photos of Morgan Paar adorning the halls of Videomaker headquarters in Chico, California. The top one is filmmaker Andrew Burke and Morgan in the Argentine Andes above El Bolson with Andrew's Panasonic HVX200 and the second is Morgan on Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun), an island in the southern part of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia, using the same camera. Thanks Videomaker, can't wait to visit you in Chico.

Here is the doc we made for Current TV from that first photo: click here.

Editor's Pick #15! Pet Hotel in New York City

A luxurious 5-star hotel in Manhattan that you CAN'T stay at! Prejudice? Yes. Basically, you need to walk on all fours and be much more furry than you probably are to stay at the D Pet Hotel in Chelsea, New York. This cute 2.5 minute video tells all. I did the camera and editing work which earned us our 15th Editor's Pick on TripFilms.com.

Lucky 13th Editor's Pick award out of 13!

Odd Fellows Ice Cream wins Editor's Pick on TripFilms.com.

Odd Fellows makes super premium small-batch ice cream from scratch in their Williamsburg kitchen. They do not believe in using hormones or artificial additives, and they pasteurize their our own mix in-house using cream, sugar, and locally sourced milk from Battenkill Valley Creamery, which allows them to infuse more nuanced flavors into their ice cream.

The vidoe is here.

The Accolades Continue

Our eighth Editor's Pick out of eight uploads on TripFilms.com. We don't take it for granted, we're up against some stiff competition. Check out the 3-minute video on the BBQ Film event Derelicte Fashion Show. The event centered around the film Zoolander. Good fun. BBQ Films is thinking of throwing a Christmas event so stay posted.

SeaScape Manor B&B Video Wins Editor's Pick Award at TripFilms.com

Nomadic Frames' most recent video, SeaScape Manor B&B, was awarded Featured Video and Editor's Pick on TripFilms.com! This is our sixth video posted to TripFilms.com and our sixth Editor's Pick award. Very excited.

This one is a bit more "commercial" than most of your videos but we felt it was the best way to show this unique B&B in a tranquil, Jersey Shore town. Highly recommended and you can take a ferry to the town from Manhattan. A wonderful escape!
